As you may have noticed over the last few years, as a standard, you get a LCD Flat Panel Monitor with your new PC purchase. This is because CRT monitors (the big heavy ugly bulky things you USED to get) are no longer being made for MANY MANY reasons. One of the main reasons is the lead content inside a CRT monitor. The levels of this lead is extremely hazardous and detrimental to our environment. Because of these reasons, many places in Billings either do NOT take CRT monitors or they charge .30 cents per pound.

Currently, we are struggling with  funding to pay for the large amount of CRT monitors that we need to ship out to  recyclers.  Many of these monitors are years old and in non working condition. Because of the lack of funding and the difficulty in getting the non working CRTs out to a recycler, we have had to increase the fee we ask when you drop off a CRT monitor to our location. We are now asking for $20.00 to help us cover the cost of shipping them to the recycler.

Please be aware that with the fee increase of the CRT monitors, we have discontinued the recycling fee on all CPU Towers.

We give receipts for any item or cash you bring to C4K, as they are all tax deductible. Keep in mind, that the money you give us, goes directly back into C4K to help keep our mission alive. 10 years and counting thanks to all of the wonderful people in our community!
