PC Hardware Donation Details

Computer4Kids accepts all computers, computer hardware, software keyboards, mice, and speakers. Because of the costs associated with recycling computer equipment, we suggest cash donations when you drop off old equipment that we will not likely be able to use.
  • $5 for Pentium 4 computers and below and Apple G5 and below.
  • $10 for CRT monitors
  • $3 for INKJET printers
  • We accept all LCD Monitors, ALL in 1's at NO charge.
Please be aware, that while we accept ALL donations, we ask that anything donated is in working or repairable condition. We also ask that any items donated not to be outdated or unable to be fixed. All fee's associated with a donation, go directly into the recycling, reuse, and to C4K.

We give everyone a donation receipt for all donated equipment. You may be eligible for a tax deduction based on the current retail value of any donated items. Checkout eDeals for an estimate of your equipment's current worth.


Protect your privacy!

C4K does not erase hard drives as a standard practice. Before dropping off your PC, you can erase your hard drive's data by going to www.killdisk.com and downloading a free version of their software. This utility erases all partitions and sectors of drives multiple times to comply with the U.S. Department of Defense data destruction standards.

For a donation of 10$ we will wipe your hard drive for you!

  • Your donation will provide opportunities for at-risk youth in Yellowstone County and surrounding areas who are in desparate need of computers and computer skills.
