Michael Erickson, President
Mike has owned and operated the Mustang Barbershop on Billings’ south side since June, 2000. He has been a candidate for the Billings City Council and is a deeply committed civic volunteer. He is vice chair of the Treasure State Veterans Assistance Program, which works to meet the medical, housing, and personal needs of Montana veterans. For local veterans, Mike co-founded the annual Billings Homeless Veterans Stand-down in North Park in 2000, and has since served as the event’s organizer and Public Relations director. The stand-down brings together some 500 homeless veterans with agencies and organizations who offer needed services.

Before settling in Billings, Mike worked in the publishing industry as a graphic designer and desktop publisher and was the owner of a weekly newspaper. Today, in his barbershop, he serves a base of walk-in customers.

The St. Vincent Healthcare and American Red Cross at their annual Heroes Breakfast Awards have honored Mike as a local hero for 3 consecutive years. He was also named Business of the Year for the year 2003 by the Montana Vietnam Veterans Association.

Mike Stricklin, Vice President
Mike owns and operates several business holdings in both Billings and Kalispell. He is semi-retired and lives in the Flathead Valley on Flathead Lake.

Paul A. Tweden, Treasurer
Paul is retired from a career in wholesale building materials industry. He managed a wholesale warehouse in Missoula, Montana, and for more than 35 years covered Montana. He also served as President of the Montana Building Materials Salesmen Association for 2 years.

A licensed pilot, Colonel Tweden was just installed as the Montana Wing Commander of the Civil Air Patrol. He has been an active CAP member since 1995, serving the organization as a civil defense and mission pilot, safety officer, deputy cadet commander, wing logistics officer, vice wing commander, and in 2006 then Lieutenant Colonel Tweden was awarded the CAP National Logistician of the Year Award, his last position for the wing was Government Relations Advisor.

Paul is currently an active member and Treasurer of the Laurel based Beartooth Flying Club.
