Throughout C4K's existence, a number of companies and people have been particularly generous with donations of materials and time. On this page, we would like to recognize their kindness and support
Rob Stephens / South Side Law Center
Robert Stephens, a local attorney, provided us with the "physical office space" in the old Silver Dollar complex located on South 29th Street, adjacent to the Wild West Mustang Barber Shop. Not only did Rob provide the space for us to work out of, but in addition, he has given both his time and money to make this the reality that it is! He is a true friend and business associate that works tirelessly to improve the business climate on Billing's South Side. Thank you, Rob.
Thomae Lumber
Thomae Lumber (Billings) donated a good deal of the 2x4 studs needed to frame the new office location, along with also donating solid oak interior doors... this was a fantastic donation on their part; and they were instrumental in obtaining many of the other smaller needed items that are needed to do a project like this.
Zentz Lumber
We can hardly thank Mr. Joe Martin enough for all of the raw building materials needed tocomplete the Computer 4 Kids new office location that was provided free of charge to assist us in providing the free computers to the children throughout Montana. They also donated much of the trim and framing lumber. Thank you!
United Building Centers
I would like to thank Mr. Dahl and the employees of UBC (Heights) for the flooring materials needed to complete the raised sections in our new building. They also provided us with the 4x8 sheets needed to complete the doorways.
Evergreen Lumber
A HUGE thank you to John Brierton for assisting us with obtaining the donation for the sheet-rock and steel exterior door(s). John went well beyond our greatest expectations, and this donation by Evergreen will be greatly appreciated.
180 Communications
For providing us with better - and more reliable! - service, the flexibility to meet the needs of a local business, and a friendly, helpful staff. Other communications companies should be this good!
Star Service, Inc.
Star provided the heating and gas materials for the project, along with countless hours from their employees in helping us to complete the final hookups needed to complete the building. Thanks!
Bloedorn Lumber
A BIG thank you for providing the concrete and other necessary materials to complete the main floor area for the new C4K project.
Carpet Barn / Tim Muerer / United Veterans Council
Thanks to Mr. Drake Beginger for the carpet for the main floor area. We'd be remiss if we forget to mention that the United Veterans Council gave us the money needed to purchase the carpet, as our building is shared with the Treasure State Veterans Assistance Organization (TSVAO) that helps homeless veterans throughout Montana. Also, Mr. Tim Muerer stepped in at the last moment to install the carpet to get us ready in time for the Christmas season... Thank you ALL.
Shermans Painting
Wayne Sherman, owner of Shermans Painting, provided the custom paint job for Computer 4 Kids new building. Wayne has done a good deal of the work on Montana Avenue in such places as Yellowstone Garage, Club Carlin, and many of the other businesses in Billings. We cannot thank him enough for his donated time and labor to complete our project. Thanks, Wayne!
Total Rental
Total Rental stepped in when the weather was really cold outside, and provided us with the temporary heat and necessary equipment for many of our tradesmen to assist them with installing the new materials.
Kinko's
We'd like to thank Craig Austin and the crew at Kinko's for providing some of the signs for Computer 4 Kids, along with providing the in-office paper for our day-to-day operations.
