Volunteer your time and help put computers into the hands of children in our community. Computer 4 Kids offers a home to both share your experience and learn alike. Below are just a few ways you could help lend us a hand.
Computer Hardware
Assembling computers, replacing and salvaging parts and more. If you have an itch for getting inside a computer, we could use your help.
Computer Software
We see and work with many different platforms, though mostly Microsoft Windows. From removing viruses and malware to installing software, updates and drives we perform all of the maintenance tasks that go with running a computer. If you want to help or learn, we offer a great place to start.
Recycling
We receive and accept equipment that is either nonfunctional or outdated. What we cannot refurbish, we then try to recycle, but preparing computers for recycling requires manpower and time. Between the sorting, packing, and logistics, C4K can surely use a helping hand. The only requirement is time and it helps keep e-waste from our landfills.
Fundraising and Grant Proposals
We are always in need of help raising funds both within and outside our community.
Marketing
Our mission is admirable, and we have been able to receive some publicity for our programs. But the more people who know what we do, the more we will be able to help Montana’s children.
